GVI designed The St. Regis Los Cabos at Quivira as a refined sanctuary for travelers who seek meaningful, elevated experiences. Set within the prestigious Quivira development beside a world-class golf course, the project captures Los Cabos's natural beauty and cultural richness.
Its layout invites exploration, uncovering quiet corners, unexpected perspectives, and moments that awaken curiosity and reflection.
Designed with couples in mind, the hotel strikes a balance between elegance, tradition, and innovation, the architecture fosters an experience that encourages feelings of calm, connection, and exploration.

Signature Identity, Local Expression
The design embraces hallmark elements of the St. Regis brand and reimagines them through the vibrant lens of Los Cabos. For example, the St. Regis Bar commands attention as a glowing architectural icon, using dynamic lighting and bold character to make a lasting impression on guests, making it a unique and memorable feature of the resort.
GVI created a sense of privacy and comfort by shaping protected spaces closely connected to natural light, fresh air, and the surrounding landscape. Local artists and artisans bring color, vibrancy, and cultural depth to every corner, enriching the guest experience and defining the resort's distinctive identity, adding a personal touch and cultural depth to the luxury experience.

Residences Rooted in Experience
One of the core design goals was to create an experience that flows naturally from exterior to interior. Terraces, pools, and decks encourage residents and guests to enjoy the outdoors and maximize the ocean's proximity.

The resort includes 129 hotel rooms and 59 private residences, ranging from oceanfront villas and beachfront condominiums to golf-side condos and townhomes.
Architecture shaped the outdoor spaces to connect directly with the beach, offering access without steps by working with Cabo's distinctive topography and phasing the development strategically.
GVI introduced varying levels that guarantee ocean views from every room while respecting the rhythm of the landscape.
As guests move through St. Regis Los Cabos, the design gradually reveals expansive views that reach the horizon. The architecture follows the slope of the land, weaving through gardens and quiet courtyards to create distinct moments where nature and design come together on a golden sandy beach.

Rooted in Symbols

Idée, GVI's luxury partner for Environmental Graphic Design, designed an abstract symbol to define a resort's identity, inspired by Mesoamerican geometry and Mitla's ancestral patterns. This symbol established a visual language that connects the resort's hotels, spas, restaurants, and villas through cultural depth and architectural clarity.
By applying this geometry to elements like façades, signage, and room numbers, Idée created a cohesive, emotionally resonant experience where heritage and design move.

A Place with Purpose
From the very first step, guests embark on a journey that connects them to the spirit of Los Cabos. GVI's design inspires, restores, and rewards those who seek depth, beauty, and meaning. This is more than a retreat; it's an elevated way of life shaped by the land, the sea, and the spirit of discovery.
